“Imagining Worlds with PID” in the VHIR Lobby
October 2025
On October 23rd, the BCN PID Foundation took part in the international conference “Creative Pathways to Health: Research and Practice in Arts-Based Interventions”, held in the lobby of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR).
In this space dedicated to exploring the relationship between arts and health, we presented our project “Imagining Worlds with PID” in the VHIR lobby — an artistic initiative carried out last May at the Tàpies Museum, where children and young people with primary immunodeficiencies (PID) expressed how they imagine a fairer, healthier and more hopeful world.
This project reflects the Foundation’s commitment to improving the emotional well-being of patients and using art as a tool for awareness and inclusion within the PID community.
The conference, organized by Vall d’Hebron, the MNAC and UVic-UCC, brought together professionals from healthcare, research and the arts to share experiences on the impact of the arts on health and well-being.
At the BCN PID Foundation, we are proud to be part of this initiative and to continue promoting projects that connect research, health and creativity to improve the quality of life of people with primary immunodeficiencies.
