Last February 11 was celebrated the day of women and girls in science and from the BCN PID Foundation we supported it with two activities:

Míriam González, research coordinator of the UPIIP of Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus and BCN PID Foundation volunteer, attended last Friday to the Guerau de Liost school in Franqueses del Vallès to share her experience with the world of science. She explained to the children what the immune system is and what PIDs are.

Laura Batlle-Masó, postdoctoral researcher of the research group "Infection and immunity in the pediatric patient" of the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) gave a talk at the Narcís Xifra y Masmitjà Institute of Girona, to the students of the higher level training cycle of clinical and biomedical laboratory.
