Conference in Argentina on the use of SCIg

September 2021

This morning, the Presentation Days of the First Regional Preparation of Subcutaneous Gammaglobulin took place; An alternative for the treatment of "immunodeficiencies" of the National University of Córdoba (Official), in Argentina.

Doctor Pere Soler, head of the UPIIP of the Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus and president of the foundation, has participated in the International Symposium: "Current experiences in the clinical use of subcutaneous gamma globulin" with the talk "Experience with Subcutaneous Gammaglobulin in Spain and Europe".

The objective of the conference was to present the UCN project, in which the UNC Blood Products Laboratory has produced its own "regional" subcutaneous gamma globulin (SCIg) for Latin America.

Having a nationally produced drug with these characteristics guarantees access and availability and has an impact on the health system, reducing costs.
