PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO PID PATIENTS AND RELATIVES

Expert psychological support is offered to children with a PID and their families in a suitable environment and with the optimum material to achieve better clinical outcomes and to promote their quality of life. Special attention is given to parents of newborns diagnosed of SCID through newborn screening that may require stem cell transplantation (SCT).

SOCIAL AID FOR ADULT PATIENTS WITH IDP AND FAMILY OR CAREGIVERS

Social support is offered to cover the basic needs and comfort of adult patients and their relatives and/or carers during hospital stays: food aid, transport, accommodation and computer support, with Internet access.

SUPPORT TO FAMILIES WITH PID CHILDREN: DIETS, TRANSPORT AND ACCOMMODATION GRANTS AS WELL AS INTERNATIONAL AID

Social support for the basic needs and comfort of caregivers is offered during hospitalization periods: food, transportation and accommodation grants, computers and Internet access to support families during hospital admission. Furthermore, the foundation offers international social aid.

ONLINE PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT FOR ADULT PATIENTS WITH PID

We provide psychosocial care services to adult patients with IDP with the aim of achieving comprehensive and ongoing inclusion for all recipients. We work through tools that enhance the experience of the disease and coping abilities, aiming to achieve personal empowerment that enables improvements in the quality of life.
