SOCIAL AID FOR ADULT PATIENTS WITH IDP AND FAMILY OR CAREGIVERS
Social support is offered to cover the basic needs and comfort of adult patients and their relatives and/or carers during hospital stays: food aid, transport, accommodation and computer support, with Internet access.
PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO PID PATIENTS AND RELATIVES
Expert psychological support is offered to children with a PID and their families in a suitable environment and with the optimum material to achieve better clinical outcomes and to promote their quality of life. Special attention is given to parents of newborns diagnosed of SCID through newborn screening that may require stem cell transplantation (SCT).
SUPPORT TO NEWBORN SCREENING (NBS) FOR SCID
We support the universal implementation of Newborn Screening (NBS) for SCID in Spain. In Catalonia it is already ongoing since January 2017 and more that 70,000 newborns have already been screened.
THE PIDCAP PROJECT: Early diagnosis in Primary Care Centers
The project aims to get an earlier diagnosis of PID in primary care centers through a computerized diagnostic algorithm and manage a better coordination with the reference centers in PID.
ONLINE PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT FOR ADULT PATIENTS WITH PID
We provide psychosocial care services to adult patients with IDP with the aim of achieving comprehensive and ongoing inclusion for all recipients. We work through tools that enhance the experience of the disease and coping abilities, aiming to achieve personal empowerment that enables improvements in the quality of life.

"Àlex Garcia" grant
The Foundation board will designate the candidates to be eligible for this grant, to carry out a research project in the field of primary immunodeficiencies with a maximum duration 1 year and a maximum amount of 6.000 euros.

"Jana Esteve" grant
A maximum of three grants (with an amount between 250 and 500 euros each) will be awarded annually for the attendence to conferences and training courses about primary immunodeficiencies.

"Juan Gauxax" grant
The Foundation board will designate the candidates to be eligible for this grant, to carry out a research project in the field of primary immunodeficiencies with a maximum duration of 2 months and a maximum amount of 1.500 euros.
