Early Diagnosis
To give support to an early diagnosis of PID in primary care centers and to include the most severe form of PID, severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), in the newborn screening universal program in Catalonia.
SUPPORT TO NEWBORN SCREENING (NBS) FOR SCID
- Project: Give support to the implementation of the Newborn Screening (NBS) for SCID in Spain.
- Target: Universal.
- Aims: To cooperate with other entities and associations int the presentation of the NBS for SCID to the Spanish government.
- Activities: Taking part of the working group for the implementation of the NBS for SCID created by the AEDIP and to offer the help from the Catalan experience.
